Tube strike

The NewsSimon FellComment

The summer of strikes continues... barring a last minute intervention we can expect the second 24-hour Tube strike in a month to go ahead from 6.30pm tomorrow.

Once again, the issue driving the strike is the terms and conditions for the introduction of the Night Tube services on weekends from September.

Attempts at resolution at Acas have, so far, not been successful and so workers from Aslef, RMT, TSSA and Unite are set to strike.

TfL are advising that from 6.30pm tomorrow (Wednesday) no Tube services will run. Expect severe disruption from around 4.30pm as people try to finish their commutes early. No Tube services will run at all on Thursday.

Services will stretched but run as normal across the bus network, DLR, London Overground, tram and TfL Rail services.

As ever, TfL have a page explaining the best ways to get about on the days themselves.
