Philip Johnson in the Telegraph reports that the Conservatives are considering allowing cars with four or more people in them to drive in bus lanes.
In addition, their policy review supports calls to:
"...encourage local councils to clear away road signs, traffic lights and humps from high streets.
"Experience in Europe - and an experiment in central London - shows less road "clutter" improves road safety."
These policies would make a huge impact in London and we very much hope that the main Mayoral candidates will discuss the merits of these policies in their next debate.
