Whether travelling by train, plane, car, Tube or foot, expect disruption in your journey tomorrow. As London braces for cold temperatures and blizzards during rush hour on Friday, TfL has been quietly making the preparations for when cold hits. Salt has been stockpiled and, hopefully, the lessons of previous years have been learned.
The Highways Agency has recommended that only essential travel is undertaken, train companies are offering revised services, and London's airports recommend checking beforehand should people be intending to fly.
It goes without saying, be careful out there (and wrap up warm).
UPDATE 20/01: The BBC are running a rolling page on the transport situation in London. Delays and cancellations are currently running at Heathrow, City Airport, rail services and the Eurostar.
