The Mayor gives an interview to the Evening Standard, outlining his support for a Thames Estuary Airport and detailing his other transport priorities:

"“The objective is not to produce physical memorials of my time in office. The objective is to do things that are genuinely good for Londoners and for the quality of life for people who live here,” he said. "

He goes on to mention his plans for 'driverless' trains, preparedness to fight the unions, and determination to secure investment for the network.
