So, the strike has passed and a period of relative calm returns to the Tube once more. A round-up of strike news and commentary below:
- TfL claimed about 40% of trains were running yesterday - a figure that the unions dispute.
- Meanwhile, as a background to any further strike talks, TfL must decide where to cut 28% of the budget from London transport projects.
- Labour MP John McDonnell tabled a motion in Parliament in favour of the strikes.
- Not running this time, Dave Hill was out and about at Finsbury Park, speaking to the picketing unions.
The next strike is scheduled for the 29th November should the ACAS talks between LU and the unions falter once again.
