Strike 2

Articles, LondonUnlockedEditorComment

Barring someone blinking, it looks as if from 19.00 on Sunday, London Underground workers will down tools once again in a 24 hour strike.

With the RMT, TSSA and LU in deadlock it seems that Monday will see the same annoyed commuters, bewildered tourists, and angry tweets as appeared last month.

TfL have pledged increased river and bus services, and will be introducing a host of other measures to ameliorate the impending, ahem, 'paralysis' predicted by the unions.

In the meantime, I'd like to re-flag the BBC's crowd-sourced travel map. I used it last time, and it proved excellent. More information on the strike and the map here.

Best of luck on Sunday and Monday! We'll update here if anything new occurs.
